We had a blast camping as much as we could this summer!! The girls and I love the outdoors!!!

Such beautiful country!! Amazing clouds . . . loved picnicking, watching the storm roll in, seeing the snakes, fish, flowers, and other fun stuff. Slow hike cause we were looking at so many wildflowers and identiftying them!!

We hiked in, saw fish, a snake, tons of wildflowers that Bug helped us identify.

We found a "squirrel supermarket" All the holes are where a squirrel had hidden his stash!

Mama and Gizzy by the squirrel supermarket . . . Kaiya was worried cause a squirrel was in the tree above making lots of noise!! HE didn't want us by his food storage!!

Fun to show Kaiya a burned out tree that compartmentalized and survived a fire! The tree died and has rotted out where the fire got it. But to survive it cut that area off from the rest of it, and is alive and well!! Fun to share the knowledge I gained in zoology at school!! Trees, amazing!!!

We got lots and lots of rain . . . our tent held up so well!! Two of the nights mom was awake alot worried it might leak! Not a single leak!! It was a ton of fun, and our latest addition to our camping equipment, the pop up proved totally worth it on this trip!!

Can't wait for our next trip!! Counting down the days . . . two camping trips planned!! Sure to have lots of fun!!
