Seek That Which You Want to Find

I love this quote! I believe it is true and it goes along with a couple of my favorite quotes from last general conference.

We find what it is we set out to find. If we desire to look for the flaws, short comings, and hairy ugly warts of poeple and life, we will find exactly what we look for.  If you seek out the bad, you will find the bad!

On the contrary, if we seek to find good, strengths, and beauty, we will find just that in life and in other people. If we seek out the good and uplifiting, we will find the good and uplifting.

I have learned from experience, that people grow and situations become what it is we are looking for. If we seek to see the beauty, strength, and good in people and situations, that is exactly what we will find. Yet, not only will we find that, by seeking out the good, we will lift and aide those people and situations. Soon, without put down, or criticism they will become inspired to change and strengthen the areas they are weak in, make beautiful their own flaws.

The quotes I loved from General Conference are the following:

"We should develop the capacity to see men
not as they are
but as they can become . . . "
President Thomas S. Monson

As we seek to see men as they can become, we are more capable of loving them that way, and they have a greater potential of become who the Savior sees them as.
