Baby

Kaelani is too cute. As daddy put her to bed last night, she said "dad, I hope my baby doesn't have an ear infection like me."  She also told Daddy it is a boy. When he asked why she thinks that she said, "Heaven told me it is a boy." She is so stinking cute. She is so super excited.

This morning as I snuggled with her, the first thing out of her mouth, "mom, does baby grow every week?" We talked about the baby grows each day. She said, "I hope the baby comes today." So, we talked about all the things that will happen between now and baby. First, we will visit our ancestors graves. Second, we will celebrate a cute girl named Kaelani's birthday. Then, mom's birthday followed by school starting. Then, we will have dad's birthday. After dad's Birthday will be Halloween. Then, between Halloween and Thanksgiving (when we eat Turkey), the baby will come.

Tonight after family prayers and scripture studies she sat next to me and said, "I am going to rub the baby every day." She's gonna be the best big sister!

We love that our family is growing.

First Tooth

Kaelani tried to be a shark and just grow rows and rows of teeth. But, we wiggled and wiggled that baby tooth. Mom wiggled it. Dad wiggled it. Grammy wiggled it. Granddad wiggled it. Kaelani wiggled it. Dad tried the dental floss trick to get it out. We tried to be inventive and that tooth just was not budging. So, we went to see the dentist who popped that tooth out for us with a little bit of cost. This girls loves her tooth fairy pillow. She took it to Grammy's and to the dentist to show them.

This girl is so excited for bed and for the tooth fairy to come. She said she is not getting money, she is getting a tooth brush. Mom and Dad are letting the fairy know she/he better not just leave money.

A few more days and the tooth next door will be out too! The tooth fairy is gonna be busy at our house!

Baby 2017

We had our first OB appointment today! We've been holding tight lips just in case- 6 weeks of telling no one has been hard.

We got to see the bunting for a few minutes. I'm suppose to be 10 weeks 6 days today, but we are measuring 12 weeks 4 days. Can't complain about knocking some time off. Our due date moved from December 5 to November 23.

After the appointment we waited to pick the girls up and got see my mom for Mother's Day since she was out of town. The girls made scrapbook pages for her. One of the pages has ultrasound pictures on it with November 2017 as the date.

Then, we headed to dad's parents. We gave them a pea with 5 pods instead of 4 and a tag that said "We are adding a pea to our pod. December 2017." (I made the tag before our due date got moved up).

It was a busy day. We reviewed some thing in other important aspects of our life currently. Continue to feel peace.

National Anthem at the Diamondbacks

 D

We went to the Diamondbacks game on Friday, April 27, 2017. Kaiya's school Choir was invited to sing the National Anthem. We invited Grammy and Granddad to come also. It was lots of fun, even if the Diamondbacks lost. Kaiya did great. Kaelani like eating pretzels, hot dogs, popcorn, and lemonade. Dad was an awesome sport at jumping up to snag anything she wanted (spoiled much).  We should have taken a family photo.
