Off We Go!!

We stayed home Friday night so we could see our friends from California. Then, bright and early on Saturday, we headed up the hill.

A quick stop to visit some of our favorite people! We had a good visit with Grandpa JT. His hearing aids were out getting fixed so we had to YELL for him to hear us! It made mama feel really awkward . . . but, it was so good to see him. 

Our favorite part about seeing Grandpa Williams is he is always so HAPPY!! 

After seeing Grandpa Williams, we headed over to Grandma's house to visit with her for a minute. Carson and Katie were there. We just stayed for a minute because we needed to get on up the road. 

We drove to Eager where we met up with the rest of our group. Then, it was the drive to Black River to find a spot. The hunters were suppose to snag a spot on Wednesday when they go up there. However, they caved to warm beds and running water and friends houses. 

 After breakfast, mama was being silly and did something to her ankle. It was scary for a minute - but ended up just being sprained really bad! So, she stuck it in her hiking boot where it remained the rest of the trip - except at night! She looked like she had an elephant ankle. hee hee.

Love it!!

We love it when we get to see these friends!! They are more like cousins! 

Archery Camping Weekend

We have a big trip this weekend! Headed up north! The girls are both excited! Kaiya can't wait! Kaelani had a tantrum this evening because she wanted to "go campin now! I go now campin!" Mama explained we weren't ready to go yet. And we talked about how she did not have pajamas, her sleeping bag, pillow, tent, etc. We aren't packed. The crying stopped and Kaelani disappeared into her room. A few moments later she emerged with winter pajamas in hand and announces "I packed. Go camping now!" It was too cute! So, I snagged video. Then, had the idea of setting up Kaiya's purple tent to help hold her over. 

She was happy! It may have worked!

Helpers

Making dinner together has got to be one of my favorites at night. Tonight we made Beef Chickpea curry wraps. The girls had so much fun helping make the yogurt sauce. 

Princess

Gizzy loved her "new" princess night gown! She kept twirling and saying "mom, I a princess!"  She sure is . . . A most adorable princess! 

When she was done twirling in her gown, we played tag! There was lots of running, tickling, and laughing!  With bed time Gizzy asked to snuggle on the couch, but did not last long! 

First Dance Class

Kaelani started dance today!! She was so worried mama was leaving! As soon as she realized I was not she was thrilled! She kept looking at me, pointing to herself in the mirror, and then saying "mom, I dance."

Back to School Swim Party

We attended the annual swim party as a family again - this would be the 4th time we have gone all together.
