Game Day!

Gizzy has finally caught onto the game day excitement! She had to have her "game day shirt" as she calls it on. Then, she got on the line of scrimmage with our team. She even made mom cheer "let's go cardinals" with Pompom while she ran fast! 

The end of the game was TENSE - the whole game wS - but the last minute mom was a ball of nerves! Kaelani was a little copy cat. 

We screamed and jumped and cheered when that last play was done!!

DisneyLand - Trick or Treating -

We intended to leave for CA early early in the morning on Thursday. However, We sort of were too tired. By we, we mean MAMA! She was up until 2 a.m. cleaning, laundering, packing, and loading. The late night made it IMPOSSIBLE for her to get up when the alarm went off at 5:30 a.m. She decided to sleep till the littles were too excited to sleep anymore. About 7 a.m. Kaelani Lulu came toddling in and jumping on Mama. "Mickey Mouse's house - Frozen." The first thing out of her mouth! She had been talking about it since the night before and she would continue to talk about it all the way to CA. We left the house around 11 a.m. 

Thankfully, we did not need to stop for snacks because a nice friend SURPRISED us with a HUGE grocery BAG full of snacks for our trip. We were so shocked! The bag even included pumpkin donuts! YUM!! 

We loaded up and took a group photo in the car! Ha ha! Then, we headed to California. Before long, mom realized the phone charger was not working in the car and knew the phone wouldn't last all the way to California. So, we had to stop to get a charger for the car in Phoenix. On to California . . . mama did not have a costume yet. Kaiya and Kaelani really wanted her to have one! So, we stopped in Palm Springs at the Party City to stretch our legs, use the bathroom, and find mama a costume. Mama wanted to be . . . .

A HUNTRESS

The girls said NO! Too much like regular Mama (And mom forgot her shade shirt to make her costume modest). Huntress was out! They wanted me to be a BLUE FURRY MONSTER!! It was WAY IMMODEST! So, we got in the car with the Huntress costume and figured we'd borrow from Mykan. 

We picked up our friends in Escondido and then headed to our hotel in Anaheim! We didn't get there till 10 p.m. at night. The kids went to bed and the mom's prepared for an early morning the next day to be sure Gizzy got to see "Frozen." 

Gizzy was not very impressed with the rides! However, holding true to herself - she found a pole to spin and dance around! She was in heaven finally! 

 Headed on the the Raiders of the Lost Ark ride - WE WERE TERRIFIED!! LoL!

 Finally seeing FROZEN! We stood in line to get a ticket at 8 a.m. that told us to come back at 12 p.m. Glad we got there early because tickets were gone by 9:30 a.m. for see in them that day! :-(

 We played and played till about 6 p.m. and then headed back to the hotel to get ready for TRICK OR TREATING with MICKEY MOUSE!!!
