SeaWorld 2017

We attended SeaWorld for Kaiya's 6th grade field trip. We sold candy bars to help fund it. I took two days off work.

We slept at SeaWorld in the World of Fishes aquarium. That was interesting. Kaiya woke up to be twelve at the foot of sharks. LoL.

We spent the day walking SeaWorld and Kaiya riding rides (mama had to sit them out because of our winter package).

I cannot believe she is 12! She has turned into such a beautiful, sweet, sensitive, helpful, talented, intelligent, and all around great kid.

Twelve is Great!!

This morning was such a blessing. Kaiya turned 12 on Wednesday, April 26, 2017. We picked her recommend up from the Bishop on Thursday and had a date to do baptisms. She and Grammy found 6 names from the Brown line to take, which I think makes it all the more meaningful. The Temple is an amazing place, but the joy to be there with your child as they serve the Lord is overwhelming.

We were so grateful to have Grammy accompany us, which made three generations in the Temple. Kaiya and I already have plans for monthly dates to the Temple.

I am so grateful for a man who honors his priesthood and lives worthy of being able to exercise it and its power in our lives. Matt has been a blessing to all of us.

Kindergarten Program

Kaelani had her kindergarten program.  Dad was flying home for it, but we couldn't not tell her he would be there for sure incase a flight was delayed, etc.  She was so excited and has been talking about it all week.

They came onto stage and she was searching for dad. Moments after she got settled, he walked in. She put her hands up in the air and cheered "my dad! my dad!" She was so excited. She did a wonderful job singing.

Blessings

Obedience Brings Blessings
Exact Obedience Brinfs Miracles.

I love that quote! It is so true! We have seen the blessings of being obedient. However, we cannot believe and stand in awe of the miracles that take place as we exercise exact obedience.

I have been seeking to learn and understand the voice and prompting of the Homy Ghost for the last year or so. As I have expressed that desire, it seems that every where I turn there are talks or information presented. It has been such a blessing.

On Saturday, April 1, I received my letter from the First Presidency informing me that my previous sealing has been canceled. The most precious part of the letter was addressing the promises made to children born under that covenant. The letter state that the children born under that covenant are still entitled to the blessings and promises from that covenant. Then, it stated Matt and so have clearance to be sealed beginning on the one year anniversary of our civil union. I have ached to have one Anniversary. I am so grateful that Prasan's heart was softened and able to allow him to not hinder my moving forward.

Monday, April 3, I came home to a phone call from Morgan. She was calling to tell me she is pregnant. I am so excited for this sweet niece. It has been such a blessing to have her back in our lives. Excited that finally after lots of time, she has been blessed with expecting a baby. During our conversation, she said, "tell matt he is on notice. He has 6 months. This baby needs some his age." We giggled, but in the back of my mind I thought - all the stress has been messing with my cycle. It probably won't happen as I thought about being late my last cycle and I am currently late again. After the previous months let down. I knew I was not, it was just all the stress.

After hanging up, I thought I may as well put myself out of my misery and take a pregnancy test.  I was absolutely shocked and surprised to see the results. Positive! It showed i was pregnant. I was so excited, but I could not just text this to Matt. I wanted to do something cute, but I couldn't keep this to myself till Wednesday. So, I called the hotel and asked for the front desk. A gentleman answered the phone and I thought this will be a dud. I explained my husband is there for work, I just learned I am pregnant and i want to tell him but not with a phone call. He volunteered to get a bun from the kitchen and deliver it with a note "There's a bun in the oven . . . "

After several minutes, I got a phone call. "Babe, are you serious? Is this real?" We are expecting!! The Lord is so good when you are obedient with exactness.
