I am so excited!! Since being rebaptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I have had more missionary opportunities than I have had since my mission! It is awesome to be able to share the Gospel again, to no longer be timid to open my mouth or to feel like I wasn't in a place to try to share.
I spent some times with my teacher friend, Ms. K discussing the Church before school got out. She has expressed interest in attending Church with me and has accepted an invitation to go to the open house of the Gilbert Temple . . . now if we could just hurry and get it completed. LOL!!
Thru her, I have met some pretty amazing people. None of them are member of the church. Today, as I was texting one of my new friends, the topic of the Church came up again! We chatted back and forth, about false prophets, all the fun things being taught to people about us. Then, the sacrament came up. The difference between the Catholic sacrament and ours were discussed. Suddenly, a "if it wasn't going to get your in trouble, I would like to attend with you sometime." Everyone I have met and talked to I have shared decisions and consequences I faced with the Church with them. It is was funny to realize they thought attending Church with me might cause me more trouble. I clarified all visitors are welcome and I would not get in trouble by having a friend attend Church with me. That led to, you should come to the Temple Open House too! The invitation to attend the open house, was accepted. An interest to go to both the Phoenix Temple and Gilbert Temple open house was then stated!! It will be such an amazing experience to take non-members to both of these events!!
After this conversation, a portion of my patriarchal blessing popped into my head, and I was able to recognize that I am forgiven, and the Lord is fulfilling His purposes thru me and blessings promised are coming back.
I get all giddy and happy inside when I invite and it is accepted!! Maybe I am just planting a seed, and maybe nothing will every come of it in this life . . . and maybe it will!! It is exciting to share the Gospel. You just never know! I am just happy for the experiences!!
Off to get ready for camping!!
