Moose

Tonight after we finished up roasting hot dogs, and making s'mores by the fire, we were busy catching fire flies. Soon, the girls and Madison climbed onto the petrified tree. After getting on top of the tree, Kaiya pointed and said, "Mom, look!" I turned to discover we had a visitor on the mountain. 

 We got out the binoculars and all had a look. As she crossed behind the quake aspen, we decided we'd sneak down to the barn and watch her from the tree line.

 We sat in the tree for about 30 minutes and just watched, whispered our excitement, and giggled with glee!!!

 She made a complete circle all the way around us! Mad Dog watching her behind us.

 Crossing back over to other side of the road - to be in front of us again.

 We were so SUPER GIDDY!! I think the only other time I have been this giddy was listening to the Elk Bugle!!!

I got an amazing video of the moose and Gizzy chasing a moth - the moth is so small it almost looks like she is just running around crazy! LOL!!
