We had Madison at the ranch with us and went back down to Idaho Falls on Wednesday to pick up the rest of the cousins to go to the cabin. On the way down, we made a pit stop at the sand dunes! Kaelani Lulu was so excited!! She kept saying "Mom, big big sand!"
We got to the cabin, unloaded all our stuff, and then jumped back into the car! We had a mission. We were going to make it to Old Faithful, and back in time for Rebecca (exchange student), Madison, and I to go to Les Miserable.
We saw lots of bison on the way in, a few elk, and not much else.
We stopped to see if the fire hole was open for floating and swimming the rapids. Sadly, it was not! The girls were super bummed!! Swimming the fire hole is one of our single favorite activities to do together. The water was still too high from all the run off.
The fire hole and there was a down tree blocking the patch down to the beach.
Kaelani entertained us while we waited for Old Faithful.
Kaelani discovered she can touch her nose with her tongue. This has become her signature trick! LoL! "Mom, I touch my nose." So, we displayed our talent together!! LOL!!
