Kaelani has been taking her diaper off and undressing herself a lot lately! She loves to flush the potty when she follows me in to the restroom. She also goes and hides when it is time to poop! So, I decided it is time to start potty training. This morning before Church, I showed her some cupcake panties, she was so excited. So, we traded out her diaper for the cupcake panties. She wore them for about an hour dry . . . While I got lunch ready she peed. So, we traded out panties.
After church before nap time, I put her back in panties with just a shirt. We were playing and she ran off. I waited a moment to go find her... She likes to look in the mirror or go get toys from her room. I stood up to go after her, there she stood, striped of her britches, pointing ...
Yes, we get that we don't wanna go in our pants... But the idea of where to go must still confuse us. So, I grabbed a paper towel, picked her gift up, and headed to the bathroom. I place her gift in the potty and said, "we go poppies in the potty." Then, I dumped her potty bowl into the toilet, and Kaelani flushed!
It was nap time, I put her down for her nap, when she woke up, I discovered she had taken her diaper off! Must have just happened cause the bed and everything was dry!!
Silly girl has sat on her potty lots today! And if placed in a daiper she stripes it off soon!! Here we go!! Time for some pull ups!!
