Blessed

I left on my mission on February 4, 2000. I never imagined the blessing it would be in my life or the ever continuing effect it would have in my life. 

I have often wondered what I did for the Lord to bless me to see His works. I tracted into the HILER family in the summer of 2000. After so many attempts to keep them from the Gospel of Jesus Christ by the adversary, and after so many miracles of the Lord, they were baptized in October of 2000. The adversary did not stop at baptism in attempting to pull them from the Gospel. The refining fire has been great. 

A year after baptism, they were sealed in the Michigan Detroit Temple. Their sealing session brought the mission to a stand still. I was in Hawaii and did not get to attend the temple with them. But my joy was overflowing!  

Sadly, as I traveled to see them in October of 2010, I learned the father had past unexpectedly. I am so grateful for eternal families. 

Never in a million years, did I think I would be able to hear of this families progress. I stand amazed at the blessings the Lord has poured out. 

Today, Elder Cameron HILER returned from a successful and honorable mission for the Church of Jesus Christ. My joy is full! 

I am so grateful that the Lord has allowed me to witness this family and their growth  in the Gospel. I am humbled and eternally indebt.
