We went dove hunting this morning. It's was all of our first time! The girls loved riding in the truck and looking for birds. KaiBug helped rinse them! She was not up for cleaning them - I can't entirely blame her. Mama shot one. :-) yeah me!! Kaelani loved looking at the doves. Mom did not bring her phone or camera because between the girls, best, shells, and 12 gauge- hands were full!
We cooked them up for lunch! They were delicious! Stuck a jalepeno pepper in them, wrapped then in bacon, and grilled them up. They both like the dove.
Mama forgot how much she loves being out in the wild looking for animals. Definitely gonna have to go dove hunting again.
On the way home we stopped at a few special places and saw a few special people!
